The Same Stuff

A new day: the Bulldog Room is closed, the Faculty Center opened, so the assumption by Johnson and I was for Bulldog food in the Center. Can you say chicken burrito?

Nope.

Same meals. They could have at least changed the menu names. Country-fried steak could have been city-fried, mashed potatoes could have been squashed potatoes, and carrots could have been, um, carrots.

In fairness, you can now have breakfast at The Faculty Center -- an experience to be reported on later this week.

Attention, Meta Bloggers: Menu changes June 2.

The desserts did not change, so you know what that means....on Thursday...need I say more?

No one dares touch certain desserts! Or, sometimes, consume them.

Is there an online site where we can preview the new menu? Are they bringing back old favorites like savory lentils? And will the competition between Chicken Supreme and Georgian Chicken (see old posts) continue?

I think we have discovered LATFC's Deep Throat -- the ultimate inside source.

The competition between the Georgian Chicken and the Chicken Supreme will continue. (That was my 2nd favorite post.) Friday menu remains the same. Probably forever. I got alot of flack for changing it to Tues. for that one semester.

The summer menu is already pretty much in stone. Next change will be for fall. Don't have a website to preview menu, but I can throw some ideas around on here and you can give me your feed back...I wonder what I just got myself into....OK, wont be working on that menu until July. Savory lentils? Who knew!!!!

As a frequent lunch-goer to the Faculty Center, let me just say this could quite possibly be The Best Blog Ever. Keep up the good work!
LATF is totally different right now though with the "normal" FC staff temporarily supplanted by the Bulldog Cafe staff. It just seems...odd.
And to echo Sweetser's refrain, with a slight twist, I can't believe *I* eat there all the time.
