No Lunch (at least at the Eatery)

Many of us in the department had free sandwiches (but no beer, even though I ordered one!) at a talk today. No Faculty Center food, nothing to blog.

The talk itself was interesting, on how Tennessee has set up an online news site and with an offer to give us their content management system. That'd be cool, though I know who in Hero Support would end up doing most of the work.

Something to ponder... Why does the Turkey Sandwich prepared by Five Points Deli and served at the online journalism meeting seem somehow different from (and thus superior to?) the Turkey Sandwich prepared by and served at the Eatery?

Just wondering.

Ponder this: exactly what part of the turkey do they use in the Faculty Center sandwich?

I did actually eat a turkey sandwich at the faculty center today, and I encountered an ethical dilemma regarding the turkey tetrazini (sp?). I therefore respectfully request the right to do a guest post on Lunch at the Faculty Center.

Email Johnson and he'll add you as a poster. Anyone who consumes Faculty Center food (and lives to write about it) is welcome.
